In 1990, a little crime film hit the screen with a stellar cast of brooding bad asses that included Christopher Walken, David Caruso, Laurence Fishburne, and Wesley Snipes. That film was KING OF NEW YORK, a bloody Robin Hood-esque tale, directed by Abel Ferrara (BAD LIEUTENANT). For any fan of Walken or crime films, it was one of the greats of the decade.

Now Ferrara and one of his NEW YORK stars are reteaming for the action-thriller GAME OF DEATH. The film will star Wesley Snipes as the bodyguard of a politician marked for death, as he is hunted by five of the world's top assassins. Unfortunately for those assassins, they have to face Wesley "I kicked tax fraud's ass and now I'll kick yours" Snipes. The film also stars Zoe Bell (DEATH PROOF, WHIP IT) and Robert Davi (DIE HARD, PREDATOR 2).

GAME OF DEATH was written by newcomer James Agnew. Production began this week in Detroit.
