Why does Sarah Jessica Parker want another SEX AND THE CITY movie?

"There's one more story to tell." No, there isn't Ms. Parker. What? Do we need another story featuring the glam raunch stylings you and your cast of characters have made such a trademark? Not really. Sarah Jessica Parker does want to revisit the franchise that made the role of Carrie Bradshaw synonymous with fashion, but thankfully, she would prefer to wait awhile.

"I'd definitely tell that [third] story, and I know [Director] Michael [Patrick King] would do it right," she says. "But maybe not now. Maybe in five years, you know? In a million years, who could get away from it it? It's just that if I'm not scared again that's not good for me. That's literally no good for me. If I'm not terrified and nauseous and worried the first two weeks of production, then what's going to happen? You could wither on the vine. It's like if you can't use your leg. It just atrophies."

Five years? Is this trilogy capper going to take place at a swanky retirement home? At least Parker realizes other films are actually in production besides SEX AND THE CITY, as she is currently shooting the comedy I DON'T HOW SHE DOES IT alongside Christina Hendricks and Pierce Brosnan.

Parker also dismissed rumors that the next SATC flick would be a prequel reboot with Blake Lively playing a young, up-and-coming Carrie Bradshaw.

"I was like, Wha-a-a-a-t?"
