Wonder Woman to become a Joe: Adrianne Palicki cast in G.I. JOE: COBRA STRIKES
G.I. JOE's casting just keeps on rolling. After adding RZA and Dwayne Johnson, the film is adding some much needed girl power.
Adrianne Palicki, last not-seen in the much mocked, passed over NBC Wonder Woman pilot, is officially joining the cast as Lady Jaye. According to Wikipedia, "Lady Jaye is the G.I. Joe Team's covert operations specialist. Her real name is Alison R. Hart-Burnett, and her rank is that of Staff Sergeant E-6." She's extremely educated, having studied at Bryn Mawr and Trinity College, as well as graduating from Fort Holabird intelligence school. She is Airborne and Ranger qualified, and an expert with the M-16, M-1911A1 auto pistol, and reflex crossbow. She is also an accomplished actress and fluent in several languages. She's the perfect combination of brains, beauty, and military training.
Palicki was last seen on NBC's critically acclaimed but horribly underviewed Friday Night Lights. She'll next be seen in the upcoming remake of RED DAWN.
