Woody Allen looking at Cate Blanchett and Bradley Cooper for his next film
I swear, Woody Allen doesn’t sleep. He doesn’t eat. He doesn’t even breathe. He literally just writes, casts, shoots, and promotes films. Hell, he barely even does that, God bless his jazz music loving little heart.
Deadline is reporting that Allen is looking at the pair of Cate Blanchett and Bradley Cooper to star in his next film. At this point, that’s really all that we know about the film, other than that it will likely be set in another European city, with the likes of Munich and Copenhagen in the running. Having a Woody Allen film shoot in your city is like getting the Olympics now.
Personally, I love this news. I think that Cooper is really an underrated actor, and Blanchett is quite possibly the best actress of her generation, or at least one of them. Allen is on one hell of a run as of late, with MIDNIGHT IN PARIS being his best film in ages, so all taken into account, this could be another career highlight.
