I've never tried yoga, and the main reason for that is that the stretching looks like a mission even Ethan Hunt couldn't solve. Unlucky for Nick Rosen - whose skepticism led filmmaker Kate Churchill to use him as her guinea pig and prove that yoga can transform anyone. In this documentary, which opens at the Angelika Dallas on Friday, June 19, Kate follows Nick around the world as he examines the good, the bad, and the ugly of yoga. ENLIGHTEN UP! also includes B.K.S. Iyengar of Iyengar Yoga - who was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time Magazine. Check out the trailer after the jump!

Oooh, this looks interesting. I practice Iyengar-styled yoga (as opposed to what? Hot yoga, I guess. I don't know) and this looks like something I can go see with my hippie friends.
