I'll give you a second to wrap your brain around that title... ok. I'm amazed by Hollywood's constant attempts to bring to life my favorite childhood cartoons: Rocky and Bullwinkle, Garfield, Underdog, the Chipmunks, Inspector Gadget, the list goes on and they just don't seem to learn because now Yogi Bear is joining that list.

The Warner Bros. project is being written by Joshua Sternin and Jeffrey Ventimilia, who are also working on the screenplay for the Billy Crystal vehicle TOOTH FAIRY. The movie will be similar to ALVIN & THE CHIPMUNKS, adorable CG animals with live action people. I wonder what people are thinking when they come up with these ideas and what they'll do when they run out of nostalgic cartoon characters. Maybe in 30 years we'll be seeing a live action 'King of the Hill' or 'Family Guy'.
