You’ll be “in lesbians” with this new SCOTT PILGRIM featurette

While the feature films making their home in your local megaplex may be a little weak (until Friday and INCEPTION, at least), this new featurette for SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD attempts to make that all a little better.

Thanks to The Playlist, a new featurette has been released for the film. While it doesn’t give a ton of new footage, it does give us a bit more of a look at some characters played by Kieran Culkin, and particularly Brandon Routh, who gets yet another moment to really show us just how amazing he seems to be as one of the evil exes. We also get a chance to see people like Michael Cera and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, the two leads of the film, as well as its director Edgar Wright, talk a little bit about the film, which is always nice. Check it out after the break.

This long form trailer/featurette is indeed playing in theaters, at least around here, and is part of the NCM First Look series, which has shown as featurettes to films like INCEPTION. It’s a fantastic little snippet of footage, and honestly, this thing looks better and better every day.

Be still my beating heart, we will all see the film when it hits on August 13.
