Your Highness character posters: McBride, Franco, Portman

Some new posters have been released for some highly anticipated films coming out in the next few months. Up top are a new set of posters for YOUR HIGHNESS. Danny McBride, James Franco, and Natalie Portman are all represented in posters for the new David Gordon Green-directed film, YOUR HIGHNESS. The film tells the story of the lazy Prince Thadeous (McBride) who reluctantly accompanies his brother Fabious (Franco) to save Fabious’ fiancee Belladonna (co-star Zooey Deschanel). Portman stars as a warrior who helps the brothers battle Leezar, the powerful wizard who has kidnapped Belladonna.

David Gordon Green has had a very interesting career that began with small indie dramas (GEORGE WASHINGTON, ALL THE REAL GIRLS). Recently he has tried his hand in comedy (PINEAPPLE EXPRESS, several episodes of Eastbound & Down) with much success. YOUR HIGHNESS looks to continue this trend. The film hits April 8th.

After the break, check out a new poster for SUPER.

Super: Ellen Page

James Gunn’s SUPER has been getting mixed reviews so far, but still has me excited for its April 1st release date. The film is about Frank (Rainn Wilson), a man who turns superhero when his wife leaves him. The new poster shows Ellen Page’s Libby, Frank’s sidekick in the film.

SUPER is Gunn’s follow-up to SLITHER, his great throwback to 80's monster flicks.

What do you think of the posters? Are you excited for either of these films?
