Zoe Saldana, Olivia Wilde, and more join THE WORDS
Talk about an impressive way to round out a cast.
The cast for the upcoming directorial debut of TRON: LEGACY writers Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal, THE WORDS, already includes Bradley Cooper, Jeremy Irons, and Dennis Quaid, and just got even stronger. Olivia Wilde, Zoe Saldana, Ben Barnes, John Hannah, J.K. Simmons, and Nora Arnezeder have joined the film, which starts shooting this month.
WORDS will follow “a writer who, at the peak of his literary success, discovers the price he must pay for stealing another man’s work.”
Starring a top-notch cast, the fact that the pair of Klugman and Strenthal also wrote the film may in fact be a bit worrisome (to say their TRON: LEGACY script was a bit weak is a relative understatement), it did hit The Black List, so there is some heat behind it. Toss in a stunning cast like the one being put together here, and you would have to be an insanely mediocre filmmaker to screw this puppy up. Here’s to hoping that’s not what we should be expecting from behind-the-camera rookies Klugman and Sternthal.
